Williamstown Area EMS, Inc. operates Two Basic Life Support Units in the Upper Dauphin County Area. WEMS 1st Due area is Williamstown Boro, Williams Twp and Wiconisco Twp. WEMS IS COMMITTED TO THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. We also provide our services, as 2nd Due to surrounding communities to include, but not limited to, Tower City Boro, Porter Twp, Rush Twp, Lykens Boro and Washington Twp. The VOLUNTEERS have also responded to assist the othe EMS Stations in Upper Dauphin County when needed. The VOLUNTEERS can staff at least ONE BLS Unit during the WeekDay Hours, most times the VOLUNTEERS have both EMS Units Staffed 24hrs / 7 Days a week. Williamstown EMS, Inc is the ONLY 100% VOLUNTEER EMS Station in Upper Dauphin County, and 1 of 2 in Dauphin County.

Williamstown Area EMS also provides training to the VOLUNTEERS in house, through Community Life Team and Harrisburg Area Community College. WEMS also provides Training to EMS Personnel in the Upper Dauphin County and Western Schuylkill County.

Other training classes are offered each month, but below are some of the classes that are offered to our volunteers:

• CPR/AED - Healthcare Provider


• EMT-Basic Curriculum (provided through HACC)


• EVOC


• EPI-Pen - Adult/Pediatric
